On double-header Friday, we came across two fascinating encounters and will be hoping for equally thrilling encounters coming our way on Saturday at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Pune. Below-par Rajasthan Warriors will search for their first win when they face Chennai Quick Guns in the first game of the night. In the second match, Chennai Quick Guns will aim for the top place and a playoff berth when they battle it out against Mumbai Khiladis.

Let’s have a look at what all to expect on the 11th matchday of Ultimate Kho Kho.

Match 21: Rajasthan Warriors vs Chennai Quick Guns

Rajasthan have been in a state of despair even since the start of the season. They are yet to notch up a point after losing all six games they have played this season. They will look to go all-out when they face Rajasthan Warriors in the upcoming game. They looked amazing in the defence in their previous clash against Odisha Juggernauts but just couldn’t manage to hold their nerve after the first half. They would be expecting their captain, Majahar Jamadar to get them over the finish line. The man in form for the Warriors has scored 77 points in six matches. Hrushikesh Murchavade, their All-Rounder has also shown his prowess. The Warriors would look to push their limits and earn some points for themselves on the points table.

On the other hand, Chennai Quick Guns have played seven matches in the tournament so far. They have won three and lost four matches in the season. The Quick Guns have been quite inconsistent in their performances. However, Ramji Kashyap and P Narasayya have been a deadly duo for the Chennai-based franchise. The former has been the second-best attacker in the competition with 74 points and is the leading defender at the same time with 14:03 seconds’ stay on the mat. The two teams will be facing each other for the first time this season. If the Quick Guns play to their potential, they should be in with a high chance of winning this contest.

Match 22: Odisha Juggernauts vs Mumbai Khiladis

Odisha Juggernauts have been one of the best teams in UKK this inaugural season. They have won five out of their six encounters and have lost just one.  They have the second-best defence in the tournament with 42 points to their credits. Nilesh Jadhav, the All-Rounder who was their Best Attacker in the previous game has scored 50 points so far in six matches. Subhasish Santra is another All-Rounder who has also been a class act and has scored 43 points in the same number of matches. The All-Rounder has been a hero for them as a Wazir. They would expect their captain, Dipesh More to join the party and take on the opposition in the next game.

Mumbai Khiladis, on the other hand, have played seven matches so far in UKK. They have won three and lost four matches. They are in for a battle against Chennai Quick Guns to make it to the top four and would be desperate for a win when they meet Odisha Juggernaurs in today’s game. The Attacker, Durvesh Salunke has been sensational with 54 points in seven matches. Their captain, Vijay Hajare who is also a Defender has added 23 points to his kitty. Gajanan Shengal can be the dark horse for the Khiladis, he has amassed 42 points to his name. The Khiladis put up a show to come up with the goods in the defence in the previous game against Telugu Yoddhas. They would look to put up a show in this match. Both teams will be up against each other for the first time but Odisha Juggernauts have got an upper hand in this game.
