On Friday, we came across two commanding wins and we will be waiting in anticipation for top-notch entertainment on Sunday. After two wins under their belt, Odisha Juggernauts look like a more confident side and they will take on Gujarat Giants who are sitting comfortably on the top spot, in the first clash. In the second game of the night, Rajasthan Warriors will look to rebound and get their first win of the tournament when they face Telugu Yoddhas. The action will take centre-stage on 21st August at the epicentre, Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Pune.

Let’s have a look at what all to expect on the seventh matchday of UKK.

Match 11: Odisha Juggernauts vs Gujarat Giants

Odisha Juggernauts have played three matches so far in the season. They have won two and lost one. The only game that they lost was against Gujarat Giants by a slender margin of five points. They, however, made a solid comeback in their previous win against Rajasthan Warriors. The Juggernauts will bank on their star Attackers - Mahesha P. and Suraj Lande to continue their spark against Gujarat who share 42 points among themselves. They would also expect Gowtham M K, who was the  Defender of the Match against Rajasthan Warriors, to continue his form.

Gujarat Giants have been a formidable side in the tournament so far. They will look to make it four wins in a row when they battle it out against Odisha Juggernauts. They are a chasing heavy side as they are the only team in the competition to inflict two All Outs. Aniket Pote, Suyash Gargate and their captain Ranjan Shetty have been the players to watch out for in their side and they will look to place aces out of their pocket. Gujarat Giants will start as favourites if they get to defend first in this contest.

Head-to-Head:

The last time these two sides played this season, Gujarat Giants managed to secure a win by the scoreline of 54-49.

Match 12: Rajasthan Warriors vs Telugu Yoddhas

Rajasthan Warriors will look to cover all the bases before they step on the mat for their fourth game. Nothing has gone their way in the season so far. The only brighter side for them in the story is Majahar Jamadar. He was initially their away captain but he was also made their captain for their home game against Odisha Juggernauts. He is the MVP of the Warriors unit. He needs someone to rise to the occasion and play the supporting role to get their team past the finishing line.

Telugu Yoddhas, on the other hand, are a defence-heavy squad. They are the second-best defending team in the tournament with 16 points only after Chennai Quick Guns (20 points). They will look to overcome the loss against Chennai Quick Guns after winning the first two matches. In the previous meeting against Rajasthan Warriors, Prasad Radye and Rohan Shingade stepped up to the task. For the Warriors, a lot will depend on how these two go about doing their business in the upcoming game.

Head-to-Head:

These two sides have met once this season where the Telugu Titans clinched a remarkable win against Rajasthan Warriors by a scoreline of 68-47.
