Let’s have a look at what all to expect on the 12th matchday of Ultimate Kho Kho.

Match 23: Odisha Juggerauts vs Telugu Yoddhas

Odisha Juggernauts have looked a very relaxed side and they have a pretty good combination. They are at the top spot on the points table with six wins and a loss to their kitty. They are the best defending team in the tournament with 56 points in their account. They come into this game after a thumping win against Mumbai Khiladis on Saturday. Dilip Khandavi was the show-stopper for them in the previous match with 2:54 seconds of defending on the mat. Their All-Rounder, Subhasisish Santra is the third-best Wazir in the UKK with 49 points to his name. The Giants would look to extend their winning run and make it six in a row to stay at the top position.

Telugu Yoddhas have been in fine form so far in the competition. They are the strongest side in the attack amongst all the six teams. The Yoddhas have played seven matches in this tournament, they have won four and lost three. They are coming into this game after a disappointing 54-46. They have inflicted the most number of Full On Chases (3) in the tournament. Arun Gunki has been their best man in the attack with 61 points to his credit. It is an important game for Telugu Yoddhas as they will look to tighten their grip with a win to inch closer to the top two spots. Odisha Juggernauts and Telugu Yoddhas will be up against each other for the first time this season.

Match 24: Rajasthan Warriors vs Gujarat Giants

The lady luck hasn’t smiled for Rajasthan Warriors so far in the UKK. Rajasthan Warriors need a shot in the arm to break their losing streak. They have lost all seven matches they have played this season. They have got nothing to lose but they can surely spoil the party for the other teams who are doing the calculations to build their position for the playoffs. Majahar Jamadar, their captain is the silver lining who has collected 82 points in these seven matches. He knows his job in and out. The All-Rounder, Hrushikesh Murchavade has also got the spark to carry the team on his shoulders. They will have to show some intent on the mat to claim their first win when they battle it out against Gujarat Giants.

Gujarat Giants have been a terrifying side in the inaugural season. They have a star-studded squad. The Giants have won five matches and have lost two games. They will enter this game after a convincing win against Chennai Quick Guns. They are by far the best defending team in this tournament. Abhinandan Patil, the Attacker has been the second-best Wazir in the league with 52 points. They can count on stars like Aniket Pote, Sagar Lengare, Mareppa, and Akshay Bhangare to perform in the upcoming game against Rajasthan Warriors. Both teams will be meeting for the first time in this competition and the Giants will start as favourites.
