On Day 13 of Ultimate Kho Kho (UKK), we got clarity about the remaining two teams who will make it to the playoffs and the stage will be set for another doubleheader on Tuesday at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Pune. In the first clash of the day, we will see Mumbai Khiladis taking on the number 1 team, Odisha Juggernauts. In the second match, Rajasthan Warriors will seek a consolation win when they meet Chennai Quick Guns.

Let’s have a look at what all to expect on the 14th matchday of Ultimate Kho Kho.

Match 27: Mumbai Khiladis vs Odisha Juggernauts

Mumbai Khiladis failed to bring out their real potential in the previous game against Chennai Quick Guns and were eliminated from the competition. In the nine matches played so far, the Khiladis have three wins and six losses to their kitty. They have been an inconsistent side in the competition. The Attackers of the Mumbai-based franchise are the best when it comes to collecting points through Running Touches with 152 points to their credit. They have plenty of heroes on their side but they have failed to perform as a unit on a regular basis. They have the likes of Durvesh Salunke, the leading Wazir in the competition, who has scored 67 points in nine matches, Sreejesh S with 64 points and Gajanan Shengal with 59 points.

Odisha Juggernauts has been the stand-out team in the tournament so far. They are currently positioned at the top spot with seven wins and a loss to their name. The only defeat they faced was in the second game in the competition. With 64 points to their credit, they are the best defending team in the season. Suraj Lande has mustered 60 points in eight matches and has been one of their best Attackers. They also have one of the most effective All-Rounder duos in the form of Nilesh Jadhav, who has scored 59 points and Subhasish Santra, who has scored 49 points. We can expect the top-ranked side to make a few changes in their lineup as they have already confirmed a seat in the top two.

Head-to-Head:

The only game played between the two sides was on 27th August and Odisha Juggernauts thumped Mumbai Khiladis by a scoreline of 60-37.

Match 28: Chennai Quick Guns vs Rajasthan Warriors

Chennai Quick Guns would be ecstatic after their win against Mumbai Khiladis last night which helped them to cement a spot in the playoffs. The team from the Southern part of India has won five games and lost four so far. They have proved themselves after having a roller coaster journey in the competition. Ramji Kashyap has been the dark horse for the Quick Guns. He has been a complete package in the attack and in the defence with 103 total points and 19:49 defending time on the mat. P Narasayya has also played his part well as a supporter with 61 points to his name. They would be hoping for these two men to keep going in the upcoming game against the Warriors.

Rajasthan Warriors, on the other hand, had a forgettable season as they have lost all eight matches in the season. The bankable players for them so far have been Majahar Jamadar with 84 points and Hrushikesh Murchavade with 66 points to their kitty. They would look to give their fans a moment to rejoice with a couple of wins before their season comes to an end. They can also rotate certain players who haven’t got many games to play and test their bench strength to see their potential. They will look to play with complete freedom and showcase the best of their gameplay.

Head-to-Head:

The two teams have met earlier once and Chennai Quick Guns registered a massive 57-36 win against Rajasthan Warriors.
