Biography

Rohit is a 22-year-old player who was born in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. He is an All-Rounder
from the Mumbai Khiladis side.
He started playing Kho Kho when he was 7 years old. He says that he remembers the time when
he got a call from the Kho Kho Federation of India that he was selected for the first camp of
Ultimate Kho Kho tournament and that was an unforgettable moment for him. He has played
for the Himachal Pradesh Kho Kho team. He has represented the Indian Kho Kho team against
England in Ajmer, Rajasthan.
Rohit comes from a small village in Shimla. His parents are farmers who specialise in apple
farming. He is currently pursuing B.Ed. In 7th grade, he competed in his first national-level
tournament, and he realised that he could make a profession out of his passion. He enjoyed
playing Kho Kho and Kabaddi throughout his school years. But, when he had to choose between
the two, he chose Kho Kho. He has competed in 14 national tournaments. Rohit is so dedicated
to Kho Kho that he built a practice field at his residence. He played many games but he was best
in Kho Kho and that is why he took it as a profession. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's in
Physical Education. He wants to give his 100% for the team. He likes mountain climbing,
photography and playing games. MS Dhoni is his favourite sports player.
