Biography

Nilesh is a 29-year-old Kho Kho player who was born and brought up in Kabnur (Ichalkaranji), Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

He started playing Kho Kho when he was in 4th grade. He still cannot forget the day when he was selected for the first time in the Railways team and won the Gold Medal for them. He has played for Kolhapur and Railways. When we talk about his achievements, he has won the Gold and Silver Medals once in Senior National for the Railways team. He has also won the Bronze Medal 8 times in the Senior National Championship while playing for Kolhapur.

His father runs a hotel and his mother is a housewife. He says that he likes Kho Kho because it is a very fast sport and it makes you play mind games with the opponent. He has completed his B.A. He wants to win the first Ultimate Kho Kho title for his team. He likes reading and his favourite sportsperson is MS Dhoni.
