Biography
Gaurav is a 21-year-old player who was born in Delhi. He will contribute to the Mumbai Khiladis
unit as a Defender.
He started playing Kho Kho when he was in 8th grade. He has won a Gold Medal for India
against Nepal in the Test Series.
He is from Uttarakhand, however, he currently lives with his grandparents in Patel Nagar, Delhi.
Gaurav was a football enthusiast growing up, but he eventually switched to Kho Kho due to a
lack of clubs in his neighbourhood. He took up this sport as a hobby and later took it up as a
profession. He believes that Kho Kho players now have a future, thanks to Ultimate Kho Kho
and Khelo India Games. He is a graduate in Political Science Hons. He wants to be the best
Defender in the league. He likes to travel and listen to music. Pratik Waikar is his favourite
sportsperson.
