Biography

Devendra is a 27-year-old Kho Kho player who hails from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He is an All
Rounder who will look to prove his mettle for Mumbai Khiladis.
He has been playing this sport since 2004. He still remembers the day when he became the
captain of the Indian team. He has represented the Madhya Bharat team in Kho Kho. He has
represented India twice, against Nepal and England and also his state team 8 times in Senior
Nationals. He wants to be the best Attacker in the tournament and win the trophy for his team.
Devendra has represented India and played at other levels as well.
He comes from a middle-class family. His elder brother, Rahul used to play Kho Kho at State and
National level. Whenever he used to see him play in the jersey of his name he used to feel like
he should play a sport that will have his name on the jersey. Since then, he decided to play the
sport. His father was a taxi driver and now he owns a company that makes instruments for
industries and his mother is a housewife. His mother used to support him and his brother in the
sport. She used to take them to the training regularly and take care of their diet and motivated
them a lot. He has completed B.Tech. He is helping his father in his company. He has worked
hard to be at this stage, He remembers the days when he used to write his exams and then
train after it for national camp. He likes photography, bike riding and travelling. Mo Farah and
Neeraj Chopra are his favourite sports personalities.
